The modern workforce is more diverse than ever in terms of gender, race, national origin, ability and age. We are working in a time when members of 5 distinct generations from the Silent Generation to Generation Z actively participate in the workforce. Each generation brings a rich diversity of experiences, skills and perspectives.
This course teaches that taking time to recognize and appreciate the unique talents and abilities of each generation and learning strategies to foster strong working relationships, everyone has an opportunity to benefit.
This course is developed towards WCAG compliance.
SHIFT developed this course with the goal of making it as accessible as possible to the broadest group of learners. This includes:
- optimizing all screens for use with screen-reader devices
- adding closed captioning
- providing alternative functionality to complex interactions
- providing clear navigation instructions
- including image descriptions where necessary
